Martha L. Pinkston Gray, 95, of Sullivan, passed away at 3:15 PM Thursday May 20, 2010 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
She was born in Linton, Indiana February 12, 1915 the daughter, of Noble Thomas and Mary Exie Lynn Thomas.
Martha was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Linton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, also two brothers, Lawrence “Chappy” Thomas and Joseph Thomas, and three sisters, Eloise Thomas, Eline Thomas, and Lottie Harris.
Survivors include one son, Jack A. Pinkston (Sun Chon) of Sullivan, two sisters Mary Jane Wellington of Linton, and Monzelle Rollings of Terre Haute, three grandchildren, Mary Louise Pinkston, Theresa Phillips and Clifford Pinkston all of Dennison, TX, nieces and nephews, Linda Saks, Larry Thomas, and Bradly Thomas all of Bloomington, Mrs Martha Toth of Terre Haute, and Scott Wellington of Linton.
Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Tuesday May 25, 2010 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home with Pastor David Bright officiating. Interment in the Fairview Cemetery in Linton. Friends may call from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Monday and before services Tuesday.
