| Melba McCullaugh, 80, of Sullivan, passed away at 8:15AM Tuesday May 18, 2010 at her residence.
She was born in Sullivan Co., Indiana July 11, 1929 the daughter of James Elmer Boone and Norma Pigg Boone.
Melba graduated from Dugger High School in 1947, was a member of the First Christian Church in Sullivan, retired from Ayrshire Land Co. after 45 years, a member of the American Legion Auxilary, American Shetland Pony Club, and the Amax Employees 20 year Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Max Boone and one sister, Mary Hale.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles McCullaugh, they married August 20, 1949, two brothers, Rex Boone of Wilmington, Delaware, and Marion Boone of Robinson, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Friday May 21, 2010 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Wise and Bro. J.B. Smith officiating. Interment in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday and before services Friday.
