| Lawrence E. Chenoweth Jr., 54, of Shelburn, passed away at 8:30PM Monday March 1, 2010 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
He was born in Sullivan, Indiana February 9, 1956, the son of Lawrence Chenoweth Sr. and Barbara Burnett Chenoweth Jewell.
Lawrence was a member of the Sullivan Co. American Indian Council. He loved horseback riding, camping and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, also one brother, Dan Chenoweth.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara Burnett Chenoweth Jewell of Sullivan, wife, Sally Wheeler Chenoweth, one son, Lawrence Chenoweth III of Shelburn, a daughter, Brandy Gatons (Robert) of Cowden, ILL., a step son, David Wheeler (Dawn) of Henning, TN., two step daughters, Jessica Birdwell (Billy) of Shelburn, Shalee Carlock (Lee) of Shelburn, two sisters, Gena Chenoweth of Sullivan, Debbie Jewell (Terry) of Merom, ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be given by the Sullivan Co. American Indian Council at the Turman House in Graysville Saturday March 6, 2010 from 1:00PM until 4:00PM.
Banks and Brust Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
