| Dorothy Maxine Wall, 87, of Sullivan, passed away at 9:09AM Thursday February 25, 2010 at her daughter’s residence in Shelburn.
Born in Sullivan Co., Indiana July 2, 1922, the daughter of Lex Akers and Elizabeth McCammon Akers.
She was a member of the Harvest Temple Church of God in Sullivan, and retired from American Latex.
She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband Roy Wall in 1985, five sons, David, Tom, Lex, Rex, and Billy Wall, one daughter, Joyce Ann Drury, three brothers, Roy, Clarence and Lex Jr. Akers, and one sister, Mary Jane Akers.
Survivors include three sons, Leon Wall (Becky) of Paxton, Rodger Wall (Brenda) of Sullivan, Fred Wall of Putnamville, four daughters, Judy Drury of Shelburn, Esta Ashton (Carl) of Shelburn, Sheila Wright (Bob) of Fairbanks, and Lora Simmons (Bill) of Shelburn, one sister, Mildred Walters of Linton, 37 grandchildren, 75 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Monday March 1, 2010 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Day officiating. Interment in the Mt Zion Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday and before services Monday. |
