| Lois Geneva Christy, 91, of Carlisle, passed away at 1:10AM Thursday February 25, 2010 at Millers Merry Manor in Sullivan.
Born in Sullivan, Indiana February 27, 1918, the daughter of George Burris and Ruth Hamilton Burris.
She was a retired surgical aide at Mary Sherman Hospital for 36 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Mike Christy, one brother, Nelson Burris, and a granddaughter, Caycee Christy.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Mike Christy (Amy) of Carlisle, Todd Christy (Amy) of Minnesota, Tina Monser (Blake) of Hymera, and nine great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00PM Friday February 26, 2010 at Indian Prairie Cemetery with Rev. Dale Wise officiating. There will be no visitation. Banks and Brust Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
