James Stanley Thrasher, 73, of Sullivan, passed away at 2:35PM Monday February 1, 2010 at Millers Merry Manor.
He was born in Sullivan Co., Indiana May 8, 1936, the son of Branceford Lee Thrasher and Ursula Maxine Shake Thrasher.
He was a retired school teacher after 43 years, at New Lebanon, and Central Elementary Schools.
He was preceded in death by his father also one sister Marilyn Kaye Squires.
Survivors include his mother Ursula Maxine Shake Thrasher of Oaktown, one sister, Peggy Roberts of Sullivan, two nephews and one niece.
Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Thursday February 4, 2010 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Larimer officiating. Burial in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday and before services Thursday.
