Daraunda Bright Gambill, 87, of Terre Haute, and formerly of Sullivan, passed away at 11:25PM Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the West Ridge Health Care Center in Terre Haute.
She was born in Newton, Illinois April 27, 1922 the daughter of Roy Bright and Macy Grubb Bright.
She was a member of the OES #11 in Almagogordo, New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph H. Gambill in 2002, also one son, Joseph Gambill Jr. and a sister in-law Lula May Gambill.
Survivors include one daughter, La Dean Kennedy of Terre Haute, one brother, Dean Watson of Ft. Myers, Fl., one sister Rosemary Ellinger of Alomogordo, N.M., three grandchildren, De Anna Richardson, Darinda Richardson, and, Jackie Franklin three great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Wednesday January 20, 2010 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan with Rev. David Cox officiating. Burial in the Center Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00AM until services time Wednesday
