Jerry E. Wilson, 75, of Merom, passed away at 6:02PM Friday January 15, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Paxton, Indiana May 1, 1934, the son of Russell Wilson and Ruby Ridge Wilson.
He was an Army and Marine Veteran in the Viet Nam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, also one brother, John Wilson, two sisters, Rejean Gilbreath, and Linda Black.
Survivors include one brother, Robert Wilson (Penny) of Elnora, two sisters, Mary Lutton of Muncie, Jewell Kolcheck (Tom) of North Salem, a sister in-law, Dorothy Wilson of Merom, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Tuesday January19, 2010 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Hammond officiating. Burial in the Mt Zion Cemetery with Military graveside services by the Sullivan, Shelburn, Hymera Legion Posts and the Sullivan Co. VFW Post. Friends may call from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Monday.
