Earl B. Ridgley, 84, of Sullivan, passed away at 10:55AM Monday December 28, 2009 at Sullivan Co. Community Hospital.
He was born in Lamar, Colorado, April 26, 1925, the son of Arthur E. Ridgley and Ivy Fern Ward Ridgley.
He was a WWII Army Veteran, retired Postal employee, and Farmer. A member of the Church of Christ in Sullivan, American Legion Post #139, and the DAV.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Imogene Ferguson Ridgley, one daughter, Earline Wence (Larry) of Louisville, Kentucky, two grandchildren Lori Wence –Herbstreit (Andrew), and Jeffrey Wence (Cassie), four great grandchildren, Kya Wence, Landon Wence, Jacob Herbstreit and Riley Wence.
Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Thursday December 31, 2009 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Adams officiating. Burial in the Center Ridge Cemetery with military graveside services by the Sullivan, Shelburn and Hymera Legion Posts and Sullivan Co. VFW Post. Friends may call from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday and before services Thursday.
