Maxine H. Andre, 93, of Sullivan, Indiana, passed away at 2:15 PM Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Breckenridge Health and Rehab in Sullivan, IN.

            She was born in Sullivan Co., Indiana June 24, 1920 the daughter of Benjamin Jewell and Anna Vitamvas Jewell.

            Maxine was a member of the Eastern Star, and was formerly employed at H.W. Gossards.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Louie Andre in 2010, two brothers, Benny and Bill Jewell, and three sisters, Beverly Walters, Eileen Cottingham, and Mary DuBoise.

            Survivors include one son, Roger Andre (Nancy) of Sullivan, IN, two daughters, Barb Mitchell (Gary) of Sullivan, IN, Brenda McCammon (Bob) of Sullivan, IN, seven grandchildren, Lori, David, Keith, Buddy, Kelly, Bill, and Benji, twelve great grandchildren, Ashley, Courtney, Derek, Caylen, Gabby, Anna, Emily, Sydney, Austin, Abby Jo, McKenzie, Katie.

            Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday September 6, 2013 at Banks and Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, IN with Rev. David Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the Dugger Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until services.

So very sorry to hear of Maxine's passing. The Olson family and Jewel family go back a long way. Starting in Farnsworth / Caledonia to Dugger, Indiana. May your memories of her bring you comfort. A good woman and dearly loved.
